    Questions

What are HEX, RGB and HSL?

Three ways to write the same colour. HEX looks like #1E90FF and is used in web pages and design programs. RGB gives the amount of red, green and blue. HSL gives the hue, the saturation and the lightness.

How are the main colours chosen?

The tool groups similar colours and lists the groups by how much of the picture they cover. The percentage next to each colour shows that share.

Can I pick a colour from anywhere on my screen?

In Chrome and Edge a "Pick from the screen" button appears. It lets you pick a colour from any window.

    Is my picture uploaded?

No. It stays in your browser.
