Change speed and pitch online

Change the tempo without changing the pitch, shift the pitch without changing the tempo, or do both. Useful for practising a song at half speed or changing its key.

How to use it

  1. Choose a file or drop it on the box.
  2. Set the tempo (1.00 is the original) and the pitch in semitones.
  3. Press Apply, listen and download. Long files take a few seconds.

Questions

Does it keep the quality?

Large changes add some artefacts, especially on drums and vocals. Changes up to about 20% in tempo or 2 to 3 semitones sound cleanest.

How many semitones is a key change?

One semitone is one step on a piano. +2 is a whole tone up, +12 is one octave.
