    Questions

    What does the check prove?

    Only that the number is written correctly. It does not prove that the AFM belongs to a real person or company, or that the bank account exists.

    Is the number sent to a server?

    No. The check runs in your browser, so the number never leaves your device.

    Which IBANs are supported?

    All countries that use the standard IBAN check. For many countries the length is checked too.
