How to use it
- Press Open BrokenTools Image Editor. The editor opens full screen.
- Drop a picture on it, paste one with Ctrl+V, or use File, Open.
- Edit with layers, selections, brushes, text, filters and adjustments. Undo with Ctrl+Z.
- Use File, Save As or Quick Export to download PNG or JPEG.

Are my pictures uploaded?
No. BrokenTools Image Editor runs entirely in your browser. Pictures are never sent to a server.
Can I open Photoshop (PSD) files?
Yes, BrokenTools Image Editor opens PSD files and keeps their layers.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It has a touch layout for phones and tablets: a menu button, a tool bar at the bottom and pinch to zoom. A computer with a mouse still gives you the most room to work.
Is it really free?
Yes, free and without sign-up. The site is supported by ads and donations.
