Turn the text of a PDF into an editable Word document. Headings, bold and italic text and paragraphs are kept.

    How to use it

    1. Add a PDF file with real text.
    2. Press Convert to Word.
    3. Download the DOCX file and open it in Word, LibreOffice or Google Docs.

    Questions

    Will the layout stay the same?

    No. The tool rebuilds the text as headings and paragraphs. Columns, tables and images are not recreated, so the result is best for text documents.

    Does it work on scanned PDFs?

    No. Scanned PDFs are pictures and need text recognition (OCR), which this tool does not do.

    Why is this free and private?

    Everything runs in your browser. The file is never uploaded.
